Glass Cloth Sleeving

Construction
Glass Fibre is manufactured from air textured filament >E= glass yarns and provide a high volume of entrapped air and consequent good thermal insulation. The basic fibres are lightweight, resilient, incombustible and suitable for operation in application up to 550°C. The sleeving is stitched along its length with a small hem to prevent it from fraying.

Properties
Glass cloth sleeving is resistant to oils, most chemicals and solvents. Will not rot and is unaffected by bacterial growth. Suitable for temperatures up to 550°C. It has a medium thermal conductivity.
Contact with live steam to be avoided.

Typical Application: Hose and cable protection.

Manufactured to bore size required.
